Reconditioned door latches.
I am building a test jig so I can offer reconditioned latches with new switches fitted in the New Year. I shall be supplying them on an exchange basis by return of post. The switches will be IP67 sealed and made by the original manufacturers. Each one will be fully tested to ensure it is fully functional as I am fed up with fitting second hand ones that die after a couple of months and they seem to be getting to the ends of their electrical lives. This should bring reliable locking for a number of years at a modest cost. A decent number of switches are due in by the end of the month and the jig will be finished by Christmas.

This is really good . Would you require the latch complete or would you just want the switches removed from the latch ?

The latch has to come out anyway and I plan to supply working latches. Not everybody can strip and replace the switchgear and that includes some that think that they can so it is better for me to send a known good latch.
Whether that is by refundable deposit on receipt of your old core or just send one out on the same day I receive it, I have not yet decided.
The reason for making a jig is so that the returned latch can be fully tested so that there is absolutely no doubt that it can be fitted and forgotten.
