Coolant replacement
I am a fairly new owner of my TF135, 2003. I am doing a few jobs during the winter months including fitting stainless steel underfloor pipes.
I drained the cooling system when it was cold. I have refilled the system but it has only taken about 8.75 litres. I have bled all three bleeding points.
As I drained the system when the engine was cold was some coolant retained in the engine, accounting for the difference between the 8.75 litres I put in and the stated capacity of 10.5 litres? I am obviously concerned that there is still some air in the system somewhere.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

There will still be some coolant in the engine and the heater systems.

Thanks for that. Looks like my cooling system is now full without any trapped air.

Assuming your low coolant alarm is operating (if one isn’t fitted make that a priority) this should alert you an inadequate water supply, however the first sign of water deficiency if your alarm system hasn’t alerted you is the heater not getting warm.
