Sheared Bolt
If I was going to repair it I would clean up the area of the crack and use a dye penetrant to identify the extent of the damage. However, as I don't have the equipment or the correct skills qualifications or experience in alloy wheel repair, I will pass this on to a reputable company that do! The garage recommended a coy that are experienced in these matters, so its off for a visit in the morning!

I had the wheel welded this morning, a local company in Hereford SWS (Specialised Welding Services) did a great job. What do you think?

That looks like a good job, did they use TIG or plasma? They look like they've got bags of heat into it judging by the waves in the weld pool as it coagulated & once refinished they'll look great.
I'll bet you'll want to do a bit of driving it now after all the farting about.

Had to go to the office today, so a nice 140 mile blast and all is going well!
