“It’s 3 o’clock or in 3 weeks”!

I have used the same MOT tester for the last fifteen years, at least & so when I rang Dave to arrange an MOT for the back end of the week, to be told, “it’s 3 o’clock or when I get back from holiday.”
I took the chance, even without a once over & returned with a no advisory pass. 
The take away from this is; keep on top of your maintenance & forge a good relationship with your tester. 
I did, however take a hot run up the motorway to get the catalyst as good as it can be.
