Morning all,
I had a light stay on briefly, second from top RH side of the display.
A strange looking picture, half way between a battery and maybe oil ? or coolant ?
It went off within minutes and didn't come on again during start up, but I would like to know what its trying to tell me if anyone knows please?
Thanks, Richard.

I can reply to my own post.
It seems the car, a 2005 model, has a low coolant alarm fitted, I checked the base of the expansion tank and I have cables.
However, it doesn't come on now and the coolant is high, so I will assume it is a blip.

JH, indeed, 2005 models had low coolant warning fitted as standard.
Worth keeping an eye on as that is one of the early signs of HGF (ask me how I know).
And even if the level is OK, keep an eye on what is in the reservoir (when cold, of course).
Hope it is a blip of some kind too.

Make sure the cooling system is bled properly........ for the procedure check the workshop manual, down loadable from this site and also check the technical tips section of the forum
