Wind stop/deflector
Despite lots of searching around, it seems it's impossible to find a wind stop, the open weave mesh type, either new or used here in Oz, needed for an '02 TF.
MGF&TF Bitz appear to have them sometimes but not at the moment.
So, does anyone have experience with a solid clear perspex type? I vaguely recall seeing a pic or two with these fitted to an F/TF, so if they would work as well as the fabric style, I'll attempt to fabricate one - fixing brackets may be a challenge!

There is no reason why a perspex one would not work, do you have a glass rear window? you may need to make sure you have folding clearance if you do

Reluctantly, the dealer who sold me my TF had to include a windstop in the deal as it was advertised as such.
But it was poor.
Made from one piece of perspex, the fixing holes were extensions of the main stop area, bent at 90 deg and attached to the T-bar with screws.
As soon as I took it up to 70mph a few times, the "turn" of the perspex started to crack and the whole sheet was put in the bin.
I now have this MGF and MGTF Windbreak Screen from Mike Satur and the beauty of the product is in the excellently machined hinges. They still attach to the T-bar with 3 screws but there is no chance for the perspex to crack. Not sure how much it will cost to post to Oz.

I have a Perspex one fitted , and haven't had any issues with it. I would say to be careful when fitting one of these, as the T-bar fixings can be very close to the bend radius on the wind deflector, which could lead to cracking and failure there, due to vibration causing wearing at the contact point.
