Need to make sure it wasn't just my machine the how to's work on.

CJJ - A little explanation

Apart from an offline viewing of the How to's , I intend the software to keep track of the various parts used in your
mods and Maintence. Keeping track of the part, supplier and cost, And which box you chucked the part into a year ago.

Notifactions of when your insurance , mot, tax and service's are due etc.

Tomm

I'll be after a few beta testers.
If any of you want to be testers. let me know (I'll quicky set something up to keep track testing)

If anybody has any other Idea's for this workshop software, let me know and i'll see what i can do

I think it has great promise, and would gladly be involved!

I have downloaded the file and it installed fine but I cannot get the how-tos to show, the update works (very quickly) and double clicking displays the title of the how to in the window on the right hand side - as a tab, but no info is shown

Could you take a peek into the howto directory (will be whereever you extracted the zip file to) and see if there are any files in that directory.
should be 51 named 1 through to 51.

Thats it working well now:thumbsup:
I had originally downloaded it on my old laptop that runs XP and when it does the update for the 51 files it says the update was successful but it only takes about 3 seconds so isn't actually downloading anything!

I have now tried it on my new laptop running windows 7 and its all working great - downloaded the 51 files properly this time a brilliant program Psymon:)

I will retry it on my old laptop - just out of curiosity

I am happy to be a tester for the development of the program if you need it.

I'm still running XP and it worked fine for me, weird.
I did wonder when you said it was a fast download, as it took me a few minutes to download, but I thought maybe you were the one person in the country that really did have 20meg broadband.

I have windows 7 and as I said in my first post the download reported success the first time I tried it, but the links to the how to's didn't work, even with multiple clicks. I downloaded it again and all was fine.

Quick Update

How to's now open with a single click instead of double click.

Redownload and overwrite your current install. (You'll need to re-enter your car)
