Hey, I work at seat so if you ever need to pick my brain give me a shout, watch out of the wires cracking in the doors, symptoms include locks inop or windows. That driveshaft is common on high mileage cars

I have two mates who are both mechanics. I pay them a bit for some side work and they sort me out. Gone are the days of paying garage rates. Win Win. I might pick your brains the next time the Alhambra plays up.

I miss my MGTF but can't justify having one at the minute.

Think eventually i'm destined for a fast family car. For now bigger is better, style and gismos are secondary to being able to the twins tackle and a mrs that doesnt pack light.

When this one packs in I'll decide what I'm doing. For now my money is being spent nicely on family stuff.

Maybe when this masters is done I'll treat myself when I land a better job.

Till then its pay the bills as usual and don't get in debt situation. I might not have the newest car on our street, but I manage several holidays a year and get out and about a lot :)

i wouldn't worry, in my experience most new cars are attached to a job, or the bank owns it.
the amount folks tick away on depreciation and finance, or contract hire, is hilarious. :omg:
