Thanks, yes it has a tow bar, thought it may come in handy as I own an MG :bust:
The colour was one condition of 'er indoors agreeing to have it. Not the easiest colour to find, I've been looking for months

I had a 3.5 classic, would love a 4.6 P38 when there's more spare cash.

Michael is a great old bus - inherited him form my dad when he died. Passes each MOT - runs fairly cheap on LPG, and frankly the parts are dirt cheap too...

Excellent choice. I'm just looking for a 4x4 for winter / dirty use. The daily diesel saloon's boot is large but odd shaped, the TF is barely passable for a weekly shop. I've narrowed it down to anything I can afford around the £2k mark. But the hot runners are a Freelander (I can buy HG kits in bulk then) a P38 or a Disco. For myself v8 power wins hands down but the boss is moaning and not in a good way..

Try and find a decent P38 with :LPG conversion like mine.... they don't command much more than standard petrol and then they are actually quite reasonable to run.
