Pscan Live Data Issue

Hello having an issue with my 5AS MGTF got some running issues I was hoping the pscan could help me diagnose but for the life of me it won't load past the fastinit stage regardless of me having ignition on or off or following the screen guides when to have the ignition on and off.  I tried the pscan on my 2003 petktron tf and it loads fine so makes me think the fault is with my older 5AS car ( 2003 ) what is stange though I can read the basic data for eka code etc but cannot get into the live data I'm thinking it could be an ecu fault as it won't even accept a manual tps reset ? anyone shed any light 

Please can you go to the 5AS screen and read the EKA.
Once the EKA has been displayed, go straight to live data without using any of the other features.
Let me know if that works please.
