just received my pscan unit, to work with a MPI mini.
mems j2 ... I think.?
THe software is on a ubuntu latop, [ver 18.04 for those who like to know]
Installation went well , I followed to the instructions to the letter..
At first is was reluctant to link up . Head scratching time.
But a re-boot seemed to settle it all down to be a happy chappy.
Big learning hat now on ;-)

Hi and welcome to the pscan and the forum

I expect your car will be MEMS 1.9, 2.0 is for the VVC.

Hi . I have a Rover Mini with MPI and is a MEMS J2 .
The Pscan is a very good bit of kit when you get the hang of it .

I think that he has a classic Mini. They came with either a MEMS1.6 or MEMS2J. The Mini ECU list is here http://pscan.uk/features/mini.html

One learns something new every day, I thought the 2 was for VVC only.

My understanding is that he A series has siemese ports and the MEMS1.9 couldn't cope with it but the MEMS2J can.
I think MEMS2J is used on some of the Rover 800 V6 engines as well.
