EPAS Live Data
My power steering trips out at random and I have been trying to find the fault.
When I run live data from EPAS ECU in my MG TF 135 using pscan it shows engine speed as twice what actual engine speed is.
MEMS3 live data with pscan shows correct engine speed , as does the actual rev counter.
I have changed the EPAS ECU and the replacement also shows double engine speed, so not a faultyEPAS ECU as I suspected.
Is this a bug with pscan or do I have a fault with my car? Has anyone else run live data from EPAS ECU on their TF with pscan or T4? Its a Type G (later) ECU. One from a 2004 car another from 2010 car. Trying to eliminate it as a cause of my power steering problem.
Any help gratefully received.
Cheers Mark

it is quite possible that there is a bug in pscan and it's misrepresenting the engine revs parameter.
I won't be able to look at this for a couple of weeks though.

When ever you get time it would be appreciated. Just to put my mind at rest it's not my car playing silly b**gers. I think I am now the only F/TF driver staring at the EPAS warning light to see if it is going to come on rather than the temperature gauge
