Hi Matt, interesting question.
I "think" that the immobiliser is always required for the mems to funtion.
Like you , the immobiliser is more of a pain than it is of use.
Hopefully a mems wizard will give a more informed answer.. Jon

pscan doesn't have a way to remove the immobiliser, but you can use it to program an immobiliser emulator.
