Ok, I've found that PScan can sync a new SAIC MEMS3 ecu (using the 'learn EMS') to my scu and suspect it'll do the same for all new/used SAIC + MGR MEMS3s...

Another newbie question, can PScan open a thermostat remotely? I'd be a great aid to that pesky bleeding part of the coolant flush/refill process...

I would think not, that would not be a deficiency in the capabilites of the Pscan..........more to do with the limitations of mechanical thermostats having no electrical interface.

Originaly thermostats in k-series engines are mechanicaly controled and not electricaly, so there is no possibility to do it by any software.

Thanks Cobber + Roverlike I suspected as much, Just thought there might be some electronics that activated it rather than read from it.
Looks like scalding the water-pump-ravaged hands then...:(
