Hi Philip.
I was thinking of using a Samsung tablet for use with Pscan rather than my ageing and cumbersome laptop . Apart from the cable USB from Pscan will the tablet be as suitable as the laptop ?
Regards John .

As far as I know Samsung tablets have Android operating system. All Samsung tablets I am using (and writing this from it right now) have Android operating system. In that sense NO, PScan will not work,on Android OS.
At present PScan does not support Android OS. Will it support in future, Philip will tell.
What I did when I was buying PScan is that I purchased tablet with Windows OS and I am running PScan from it. Of course you need good USB port on such tablet.

Sorry but Android is not supported. It isn't going to work.
