Brake lines, The danger lurking.
I have exactly that one to replace, fortunately my air box has been removed already making the job much easier.

Paid 10 x that for my 160 TF and the brake lines were awful, first thing I did was to clean them up and put some waxoyl over them.
Changed all the rubber flexi pipes to stainless steel braided as the ferrels were even rusty and looked like they were only just hanging on.
Bet all our cars brake lines are a bit iffy, in the areas we cant see.

When changing the brake lines on "Blue 33" I found tha same horrors:-
Although if I recall it was the off side which was worse on mine. Again not visible from beneath due to it's hidden run around the top of the engine bay. I replaced mine with copper. Next I have to carefully check and inspect the same lines on the Project VVC.
