unfortunately the pscan interface only works with the pscan software, and vice versa.

The pscan interface is unique because it was the only way that we could create something that would work with all known MG Rover ECUs with only two cables (the 16 pin and the 3 pin round).

Prior to pscan I used various tools that require endless adapters and different coloured cables for different applications and I always thought that it's a poor user experience.
