A friend with a ZT diesel has asked if I can diagnose some issues on his car with my Pscan that he cant see with a basic plug in diagnostic. Ive yet to fully explore using the pscan on my TF and know nothing about the systems on a 75/ZT so not sure what to expect
Is it known which systems the Psan will interact with on a ZT please ?

Success. PSCAN worked very well,
First, clearing historic error codes on the SRS which shut off the airbag light.
The ABS reported a motor falt at first that returned after clearing. But then I used the PSCAN's bleed procedure to give the motor a work out and it's now fine, the fault hasnt returned and the light stays off.
My pal is now asking what i can do to swap the left and right window switch functions. As far as I have been able to read up he will need TOAF for that so im wondering if that can be run using the PSCAN lead

I haven't implemented anything like swapping switches, so he will have to find another solution for that.

No, thats understood and all cool. Its great the PSCAN has done what it has on the ZT.
I was just wondering if I can use the PSCAN lead in this instance as though it was a plain ODB2 lead when I run the other software. It would beat having to source a plain VAG ODB2 lead and doctor it's pins to make it compatible for just that one task.
I'll try it next time he drops round in that car and will report back

unfortunately the pscan interface only works with the pscan software, and vice versa.
The pscan interface is unique because it was the only way that we could create something that would work with all known MG Rover ECUs with only two cables (the 16 pin and the 3 pin round).
Prior to pscan I used various tools that require endless adapters and different coloured cables for different applications and I always thought that it's a poor user experience.
