Updates...

Had my MOT on Friday and passed with lots of advisaries. Most of which will be taken care of when I fit the 85th suspension :)

Air Con pipe has a small leak, along with underfloor coolant pipes.

I've also been working with JoH on uprated 85th brackets to take the extra strain of the front ARB, so I now have all the necesary components to fit it.

My dilemna is what gearbox to fit. I have a Quaife straight cut close ratio box which I want to fit, but don't know whether to swap 5th for a quiet life and some economy!

To celebrate all of the above, I've bought another TF - will be breaking it so I can nick the dash, possibly seats, subframes and a couple of other bits to make the engine swap easier, so watch the for sale section if you need anything...

Can I ask if you bought them new?

I'd love 1-4 in straight cut, purely for the fab sound

I can't remember the specifics, but it amounts to a wishbone, upper ball joints, rear tie bar will need to be replaced soon. Also got to look at l/r brake bias as it was borderline on the braking test.

Been busy working on the new car. Freed off clutch arm and replaced slave cylinder seals so it'll now move under it's own steam. Once I stripped the interior out (to steal for my car!) to find the footwells very damp and curiously with green liquid.

After lots of messing about hoping for an easy fix (say heater matrix swap since the dash was already out, I've found the interior heater pipes are corroded and leaking. They're a right bitch to get out and I suspect they're going to be an even bigger bitch to get back in!

I've fitted the grenadine interior to my car now and taken the damaged drivers seat to a coachtrimmers to get it repaired - it'll be £80 to replace the whole bolster, but I think it'll be worth it in the long run.
