Where were you thinking of getting the head done?
Can point you in the right direction if you are intersted.
Chris
There have been quite a few nitrous conversions without uprating the engine and they have been OK. They have mostly had progressive controllers though to limit the shock to the engine.
I am with you though and would strengthen the engine for peace of mind.

Not really thought about where yet, I reckon I probably have about a year or so before anything actually starts to happen so plenty of time to look into all the different options and compare them. A couple of first ideas are either Dave Andrews or Modus who are a local company. Any recommendations would be gratefully received
These guys are superb they built the engine for my track car and are flawless, I got my TF head from their sister company CNC Heads they also made the cams to my spec. Cant recommend enough

The MS kits are very good and use the same Spax dampers that I have which are great, the springs he uses are very good to but drop the car more then his figures suggest. A TF with the red spring kit will not clear even the tamest speed bump without grounding the floor pan- really a track spring.

hmm i'm really glad i got this thread going tbh i didn't realize what i was getting myself into... not that i'm put off just determined to do it right lol (for once) +rep btw

But I'd bet good money I've forgot loads more....lol
For those who haven't seen the first test of the active spoiler
I have four ways of controlling it
Manual, like a window up an down switch and it stays were you set it
or goes fully up under braking and returns when you come off the brake
left corner g-force which has a variable adjustment
right corner g-force which has a variable adjustment
when using manual control all others are disabled
when using auto mode, braking and cornering act together, so you brake for a corner it goes up and then the G-force switches keep it up after you come off the brake through the corner till you hit the striaght when it goes down again
