Pets corner!

Would be interesting to find out how many of us do have pets as well. I dont mean just fish, sorry Jester, but they aint cuddly pets, but proper pets.. That should get me a right telling off 'bash'

Sulpher crested cockatoo?? wow, Ive always wanted one of them, I was saving up for one when I saw a cage full of hand reared African Greys & ended up buying Slippy instead.

He is a good boy really just bloody loud when he kicks off.. Does your Slippy talk? And why that name?

Oh he talks alright, never bloody shuts up but I love him to bits, only thing is, he loves my wife!!
I can get him out & he will sit with me & let me stroke him but as soon as Joy walks in, thats it, he shoots over to her. hes pathetic with her, she can kiss him, cuddle him, lay him on his back etc
As for the name, I dunno really, I wanted a parrot from being about 19/20 ish & I was always going to call him that. I cant remember where it started or why?
The dragon is called Ian. When we was given him we couldnt think what to call him, he started off as Kraken for a day or 2 then my youngest son suggested Ian & it stuck.

Okay then seeing as Frank has sanctioned this and I suggested it I will kick off with a quick pic of our 2 rescue cats, we've had them about 4 weeks. they were already named Oscar and Olivia which we've shortened to Ozzie and Livvy. they are settling in well.

Merle, or "The Merlester" is our Blue Merle Border Collie.

He is a very intelligent dog and can play the piano while reciting the 9 times table.
