I could use the portion of the dash that fits over the instrument cluster. (Binnacle?)
It's the black, dome shaped bit of black plastic that screws onto the main dash
I am also after a Mike Satur rad bleeder if your car happens to have one installed.

Cheers,
Rich

Mine looks like someone leaned on it. The top has a hairline crack and the mountings are broken.
I didn't even notice it but a friend took one look through the driver's window and said,
"Shame about the cracked dash." WHAT!!!
I'm tempted to super glue the crack but I'm sure that will just accentuate it.

Then it wouldn't match the rest of the dash and I would be on the slippery slope of upholstering the entire dash, console etc.
I should be able to find one before I'm reduced to that!
I suppose I could remove the front trim piece and epoxy a reinforcement behind the crack.

could get a soldering iron on the back and weld it back together dont touch the front cant remember if it is textured you could just sand out and polish after wards. keep dropping bikes you learn this also halfords has a plastics weld kit (chemical) really all it is is super glue and bakin soda makes a reaction with plastic same again sand and polish

Hmmm, so ive looked at the binnacle, its in great condition, but i cant see a way to remove it!

The screws are inaccesible inside the heating/ventilation tube under the dash, and its bonded on.

Looks like Rover bonded the tube on after screwing on the binnacle.

I could drill/cut some holes in the tube to remove the screws and remove the binnacle, but you would have to do the same to your dash i guess!

Or swap out the whole dashboard just to replace the binnacle!
