Thanks for your reply.
If you could let me know the size of the rear tyres/wheels and the price you want that would be a help, as I am really only interested in those.
Also I could let you use my two rear wheels to take your car to the breakers if your wheels/tyres were ok for me.
I live reasonably close to where you live,( Hornchurch) so could come and view them.
Thanks again
Geoff

First I have the windbreak and book pack for Pete all ready just need to get it all down the post office.
Tonneau cover and door mirrors for Bryan, I have the back jacked up at the moment so couldn't get the u clips off tonight so if your OK with a bit of delay on the other bits I will keep it all together and send all at once.
Got the rear wheels of for Geoff, gave them a quick clean when I got back and they are in really good condition.
Also got the door cards off which I will have a clean over the weekend.
I have checked and have the complete tool pack by the looks of it the jack etc all in the bag.
One job I thought would be quick was the roof I decided as it was knackered I would take it off however it was a bit of a pig!! Not sure if it's any good to anyone free to a good home, overwise I will take it to the tip to free up some room.

Thank you Tony, it is quite ok to send all at once, did you manage to get the rear side scoops off (there are two screws, solly) and if jan (Softly Softly) does not want the front doors and hood rubber seal (it goes from the front of one door up the windscreen frame ,across the top of the screen and down the other side) i will have it. i think Jan wants the rear door rubbers??
BRYAN
# Good condition wheels are worth more!!!!! the early ones tended to corrode on the insides and lift the primer coat (they were never finish painted originally! another MGR penny pinching saving!!)

I will shortly be putting an end date on the strip down as I could do with the garage space at home. So I will get all I can off but I reckon by the middle of march I will need to get what's left down the scrap yard.
Lots of good cheap parts still to come off, so keep the requests coming, feel free to make an offer on the price of things. I would prefer you lot to get some good bargains now rather than send a load of decent parts to the scrappy.
Might take me a while to get everything sent out as I work 6 days a week and so only have one day in the week and evenings to work on it, but collection is always welcome.
Thanks
Tony

Posted 12 years 8 months ago #41482I'm still umming and ahhing over the door panels! Unsure whether they match or not: mine look darker (black) than your pics. So if someone else makes an offer thats fine by me. If you've still got them mid March then I may arrange a visit!

Posted 12 years 8 months ago #41487Reason I want to clarify is that I need the 2 front wheel arch trims - mine are both missing. I didn't realise until I washed the car today
So I need these for defo, if Jan doesn't need them.

Posted 12 years 8 months ago #41676I have the Large rubber seal that wraps the top of the cabin, ie around the back of the hood over the doors and up over the screen, It has come off in its two parts and is in good condition. I think Bryan was the only one to ask for this, but please correct me if I am wrong. You are getting a rather full box full at the moment Bryan I can see another trip to Surrey for me soon!!
I also have the thin rubber trims from around the edge of the wheel archs all four although the rears are filthy so i will give these a good clean in the morning to check the condition. (are these what softly was after?)
The front wheel archs are intact i just need to get the front wheels off to remove these. are these what you are after Laz?
So I also have the bonnet and boot both in good condition, the front bumper is off and except for a couple of scrapes on the underside of the front its in very good condition. The rear bumper is still on but i am going to try and get that off in the morning.
just removed the engine cover and removed the ECU and Air filter box and pipe.
Tommorow I will be draining the fluids and trying to remove the brakes and other parts of the engine.
Any other requests keep them coming and I will try and get them all off.
I am having trouble with PM as they disapear into my spam folder so if you think i am ignoring a message post up on here or e-mail me direct [email protected]
Thanks guys
Tony

Ahh that bit, sorry this is the first time I have been able to see the picture!! my phone and work PC both refuse to show it!!
Do you need all 4? I managed to get these off tonight. they are not very bulky so should be an easy package £20 for all four including posting? or £7 each including posting.
Thanks
