1:I have a touch of the flu, and its proper man flu as well having to take lots of drugs etc...!!

2: its the 1st of March, as my part time job when im not fixing or breaking lots of silly cars I spend the other six days of the week running a Main Ford Dealership and we have the small matter of delivering over 100 new cars over the next few days, got out around 50 today and I was in from 7am till 7pm so unfortunatly tonight was whiskey and night time flu tablets for dinner so no time for the MG im affraid. :bang:

However I will be cracking on with the car over the weekend so sorry if I have missed any messages etc.. today but I will get back to everyone and should be able to post everything out over the next couple of days. :broon:

Dont worry, your health is most important (Doctor Bells is great stuff :yesnod: dosent cure the Flu, but makes you feel much better) had not thought about all those 12 plates going out, good that someone has got some money.

Speak soon :hugs:

Right had a quick trip to the car tonight, got the door handles off for softly and the screws for Pete, for the windbreak so these will all be posted tommorow with the wheel arch rubbers as well,
Quick question for anyone near there car.
Having taken all the wheel arch rubbers off I have two sets I am pretty sure the shorter of the two are the rears but could someone clarify for me before I send the wrong ones to the wrong people !!! Thanks

I'm sure as well as the fronts have a different shape as well, the rears (short ones) are well a wheel arch shape!! But the fronts flick up a bit at the front end, and the rears were much dirtier, and although I cleaned them they are still a bit dirty!
I'll stop at the car on my way to work and try one before I put the final piece of parcel tape on.

Whilst I'm after advice can any one give me a handy tip? I am trying to remove the front wheels but on both sides one of the nuts has rounded off, not completely its the chrome cap thing that the socket looses grip just at the critical moment. I think they may be on too tight but just can't shift them. Any ideas? Is the chrome cap thing removable?

Thanks

The chrome cap is removable but it's not an easy job. They are 'pinched into a waistline at the bottom of the flats.
The nuts themselves are open, it's only the caps that are...capped
It may be possible to drill the centre of the cap and then tear it off. The steel nuts underneath are 16mm.

Sorry - I can't measure my front wheel arch trims because............

I haven't got any

If I remember correctly someone bought your rear brakes. If not, I would be interested in them.

Also, do you still have the wing mirrors?
