Well at under £700 it's less than just the porting work alone!
Let alone the new parts and machining!

sure it had a hardness test of 120Brinell in stead of 117 :) that was the only difference between them...

anything over 90 Brinell meets Rovers OEM spec for hardness... so they are both almost 33% harder than they need to be to be considered good.

Custom made water pump??

What's wrong with the Elise parts uprated 200 lpm one?

Helllier opened up all the water ways in my head during the head work... He says he runs full race cars on the Elise parts pump without any issues..

the issue is that it cavitates horrendously, and the new pump will up the pressure and flow in my system quite a bit, to improve oil warm up, as well as engine cooling...

my water pump impeller was designed by ex Brawn GP engineer :)

no, not had it on a flow bench...

it has just had King-k's computational fluid dynamics analysis done, and the porting and water ways cut accordingly...
