ok the car , 98 mgf in mnx platinum silver , 1.8mpi , seats are already spoken for and hood provisionally as are the mudflaps and vent surrounds , apart from that everything is available , no sensible offer refused ,

4x 15" wheels the fronts have nearly new nexens and the rears barum eurotours with plenty of tread , one of the reas has the usual mg rover leaky seal so needs air once a fortnight




NSF headlight in good nick

high level brake light , 1 x bulb out but they are only normal side light bulbs

OS and NS rear clusters and bootlid , bootlid has one repaired rust patch on the seam


real steel treadplate floor mats

Red leather gear and handbrake gaiters and gearknob

chrome ashtray and lighter

2 x doors in good nick with working window mechs and manual mirrors and red led puddle lighing


I've also got a boot release mech that pops the boot via a solenoid operated by a button on the dash .

We have a definite issue with pms on firefox. It seems to be all working on IE9. Simon is beavering away!

I use chrome and theyre all over the place today david , random notifications for non existent pms and then the same one appearing over and over as "new message "

That's exactly what Firefox is doing too. Simon will get to the bottom of it. Fear not! :bat:

Yes IE for PMs and it works fine.

ben just tell me what theyre worth to you and I'll accept that , I'll stick em in with the mudflaps over the next couple of days and get em to you , how do you remove em BTW ?

Spot on mate I'll send you a big box of wine gums lol bar I'll send you some cash pal. To remove em is easy you just hold the frame and pull em out with a bit of a wiggle and they pop off that's it done....

A reasonably succesful days stripping despite the delightful lake district sleet drizzle , the seats and door cards are currently in bristol en route to cornwall before doubling back to kent tomorrow , a couple of bits will be winging their way to our antipodean cousin tomorrow and bens carbon vents are out and awaiting the mudflaps jpoining them before I dispatch them to him .

anyone want the wheels and tyres ? going cheap !
