There's a bracket that holds the light to the bumper and a surround on the outside of the bumper. Don't worry about screws /bolts just grind the heads off. As long as the bracket, light and surround are intact - job's a good'un.

so the reasonably big black plastic thing that the fog light bolts into david ? on the impact side the bumper connecting bit is broken but still rock solid as it connects to the car as well as the bumper , passenger side is fine , I'll take a hacksaw to the screws , any other bits connected to it you need like wiring dave ?

Yeah just those bits. I've already got the wiring, relay and switch in place. :broon:
Buy a cheap angle grinder, God's gift to car dis-assembly.

Mr AMT - I dont suppose the clips - both peg and clippy bit - for the drivers side fuse cover thingy would be available..?

Yeah, thats the area

ill try and get pics later but basically after the two screw / peg things that hold it closed but also there are two square shaped clips inside that these secure to that i snapped on mine...
