David, thank you so much. I might take it out of the 'cover' and leave the air pipes directed at the KN, see how it goes

Frostie please post a pic so that we can see your set up - taking out what you refer to as the 'cover' may not be the best way to go.

If you decide to go back to standard and change to the larger twin feed TF box make sure you get the fitting bracket,the mk1 bracket is too small.You will also have to remove the resonator box if you have the mk1 set up.

So far I've left the KN on with out the housing. I photographed the 'custom housing':

Might keep it like this for now, without the housing and see how it goes.

Only bleeding ears !!
I had one for a week, I hated it, it had a cold feed, it was unbearably noisey and I love noisey, fuel consumption went up :dry: and I lost power .. Nasty horrible things :yesnod:
