Cheers mate - i think the valve is stuck closed if i'm honest, but would like a 2nd / 3rd / 4th opinion on Saturday if poss.

Mine was seized but a good squirt of wd40 cured it with some persuasion, then disconnect it at the engine bay end and the valve stays open by default.
