I am a trained sniper, have been trained on quite a few firearms and unarmed combat, can survive in a nuclear, biological or chemical environment and can live in a hedge on nothing but rabbit droppings and Ginsters pasties. Not sure if that helps on this forum though, but let me know if you need my skills. ;)

I'm also trained in counselling, so in theory I could "Take out" an unwanted relative or acquaintance and then help you manage your grief afterwards. That is the all inclusive package. B)

Back on topic though, I'm in two minds about "like". I think it is overdone and dumbs down a bit to the level of Facebook, but on the other hand, it is pretty universal now and everyone knows what it means.

I would like to see the site more "Mobile" friendly.

I don't really want to go down the Tapatalk route and I have no problems viewing most other websites on my Samsung Galaxy Note in all their glory, for some reason our site doesn't wrap text according to size of screen and the text disappears off to the right with no way to scroll sideways to read it.

Is that not the off button?

I think you need to explain this one a bit more.

You want to block "All" posts, or just certain ones?

Clive, small world....I took the Canadian Army Sniper Course back in the 70's and got to play with some of the British Army sniper rifles
while with the Queen's Own Highlanders. No counselling though. :P (Shooting yes, Drinking yes, counselling no!)

As far as generic how-to's, I can see them anywhere on the net. I come to MG forums for specific MG information not generic car repair.
I understand that ex-MGF Mark doesn't want to cut his ties to MG, but maybe the Astra forums would appreciate his input. No offence meant.

lol

rich you might be handy with spanners ect but some peeps are not , any help that is technicaly correct is better than none

ie the brake discs stick on the mgf after a while so peeps cut them off, hammer them off ect so why not drill a hole and tap the hole to push the brake disc of the flange using a bolt

also my last post on brake dics and what to look for you missed the point all brake discs wear and i was showing visable damage ect
but hay we are all entitled to our opinions

and yes i do the astra forums , mg forums, gixer forums , and the bike racing forums
giving back what i have learnt over the 35years of messing with cars, bikes, tractors, generators ect

mad about cars and bikes :)
if it aint broke dont fix it :)

Maybe it would be worth a T-bar Black ops page. Special forces. I know I was special. ;)

I look back at some of the photos and giggle to myself. It's sooo cliched, but when your young it seems a good idea. :bust:
