Simon.
It's not Narnia though.

The Asylum is a section that is accessible to any registered member who has made a donation to the forum, bought a sticker etc etc. There's a button below if you want to donate...starting price £1, but donations of more are always welcome
It can then be accessed by using the index tab where it will show up between the 'Cool Wall' and 'Gift Shop' links on The T Bar section (second one down)

sorry to me pm's are sancrosanct , private means private and thats it , all the situations you mention can be dealt with by the recipient of the pm if neccesary
So, really, the only question is..... is it our honesty you don't like? Should we have kept it secret like EVERY other forum out there?
I take it you are members of other forums. I would be wondering now how much they value your privacy.
We don't take it lightly and have no intention of reading PMs for no reason.

I think that personal elements have had to be reined in here: a different matter.
Primarily, this is a specific enthusiast site, yes we have off-topic banter at any opportunity, I am very guilty of that, but I don't think that this is the place for social networking in the strict sense: plenty of suitable sites for that.
I don't really mind that pm's can be read by admins if required: is this heresy? I don't really say owt that I would bother about being broadcast in the public domain. Other than my liking wearing Sue's bra........ but only on Fridays. Ok, every day. A hairy cleavage is a Good Look.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Now that deserves a ban.

I appreciate your honesty cjj , I still dont agree with the reading of pms for ANY reason though , sorry but thats just my opinion , I view it on a par with opening someone elses mail , If I sent jeff a letter and he decided to show it to you fair enough , I wouldnt like to think though that you could take that decision out of jeffs hands and steam it open before he got it , bit police statey for my liking :nonod:
