What a shame its come to this, just shows what you miss if you dont check all the threads and "The Asylum", bits.

Not knowing all the facts, I wouldnt comment on any of it, just that it wont be the same without Softly Softly or Puddles.

Got to respect the Admin Teams decision, or move on I suppose.

I've just done a search for what I consider to be the reason, and it only appears once on the main forum, so very easy to miss. Makes no difference to me and I'm sure it wouldn't to many others. The sooner it's mentioned out loud and everyone just moves on the better. At the moment I think most senior members know and other lucky newbies like me who stumbled across it. Until the mods have decided how best to appropriately act it will be the elephant in the room. People have set their stall out and now have to live with their decisions.
I like it here and think the mods to a top job. The wealth of info is invaluable.
Of course, I might have entirely the wrong end of the stick, or possibly not even the right stick

I think its important to remember.. that the mod/admin team work behind the scenes for the good of the forum..


Trying to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with due respect.. Everyone treated not only as equals.. but also as individuals..

Its easy to disagree when we dont know all of the facts.. but perhaps we dont need to know all of the facts..



Personally think what is done is done.. lets move on and get back to the main focus of the forum.. Our cars..

Having been on the end of one of Jan's turns and hearing / reading constant beratement of others, Im not surprised this has happened.
Yes, Jan did a lot for T-Bar in way of promotion and materials but this isnt a one-woman band and im sure someone else will step up to the plate - its just she was in an advantageous postion to be a lady of leisure so has time and money on her side to do as she pleases, when she pleases - a luxury most of us dont have.

Onwards and upwards and may the T-Bar be a better place for all decisions made.

I like cars.. I like MG cars.. I like to talk about cars... I like to get dirty working on cars... I like to buy shiny bits for cars..

I dont like broken down cars... I dont like hurting myself on cars.. I dont like the cost of insurance.. I dont like paying for road tax when they dont fix the roads....

I think it's all very sad, Jan and Katie were the first to make me feel welcome, not just here. I don't pretend to know everything but I've been told some things that have been said about me too and, it should be fun and a giggle, not drama it's only come from here. Just when you feel happy and confident typist, you feel you have to be suspicious!! I enjoy reading about the cars and adventures, but it's really put me off hearing these developments. Sorry but that's another opinion.
