Yes but the big floaty things have other ranks in too.

We were the only service that sent equipment in filled with 100% officers. It is the only service that only uses officers for fighter and frontline aircraft.

The only time Airmen get to fly the proper planes is when we start running out of officers, like in WW2.

Officers in grey wooshy things... pfft.

Rather have air support from a pongo in an AH-64D, at least they can get their shots on target.

Oh and they stick around......

PS you have to worry when a drone can do the same job as a so called officer..... sounds about right though.

Ah-64 over a typhoon? Come on! Even daft lads wouldn't make that comparison.

Oh and shots on target? We have the best strike rate in the world! Even the yanks ask us to carry out mission critical target strikes haha

Having said that, that new type 45 looks a good bit of kit!

I dare say them pongos are really scary people, but I doubt they will get their toys out until the big flying things have secured their airspace and made it safe for them to pop their periscopes up over the tree line. ;)
