Who Likes Seafood?

Absolutely love seafood, as do my wife and 3 oldest daughters, baby 8 month old will eat whatever is front of her!! :lol:
My favourite dish (homemade) has to be my paella nom nom

We love seafood, esp a massive prawn salad, with crusty bread, but heres food for thought. Saturday night prawn salad ect for tea, only my hubby was out shooting and didn't get home till 10.30pm.He had already been fed bythe farmers wife, so on Sundayhe would have the prawn salad, which was clingfilmed all the time and sat in the fridge. Early Monday morning about 2.25am, hubby has crippling stomach pains and goes to loo, he normally takes a long time. I nods off, and at 3.15 feels he, s not back in bed. I get up, and its howling outside, and wonder if Ant has gone downstairs to check on the dog, who was barking. I pokes my head into bathroom, and he is passed out on the floor, and blood, lots of it, congealing on the glass bathroom scales. I manage to get him up, but he's out of it. Long story short, I help him dress, and off to AnE with a large cut to the back of his head. He had 8 staples put in. The doctor diagnosed food poisoning, he was put on a drip, had a ct scan, and tonight is back home. I'm always carefull with hygiene around food, and esp fishy things and raw meat. Going to collect him, on the radio a presenter said that fish is one of the top item that can cause food poisoning, but also green leafy salads/veg pre packed, has 23% of the votes too.

I was surprised about the high possibility of food poisoning with pre-packaged salad, I shall be carefully washing my salads from now on.I hope you husband is ok now Mindy.

If you are ever visiting the Black Country Museum have some fish and chips from the authentic 1930's chippy. Deep fried in beef dripping: closest thing to heaven food-wise. Probably closest thing to a heart attack but hey......

A close second is the chippy at the Ironbridge Gorge museum.

All seafood, especially prawns and shellfish is inherantly evil :sick:

apart from chip shop fish, I'm a firm believer that it is simply wrong to eat anything that hasn't got or had roots, stems or feet

Don't ask me why chip shop fish is excluded...it just is!!! :lol:
