Autoglym do a soft top cleaner and reproofer.
You can improve the rear window by giving it a good clean and then putting a coating of car wax/polish on both inside and outside face.:yesnod:

The window will come up a treat if you use Autoglym super resin polish on it.
Tip: go up & down on one side and side to side the other side to eaily show where you missed
While it's dry, give the hood a good going over with the nozzle attachment of your hoover (I use the one used for getting in all the nooks & crannies) - you'll be amazed at the dust that gets sucked out!
Then I normally use an Autoglym cabriolet kit from Halfords (think they have a 3 for 2 on all cleaning products at the moment - go stock up quick!).
It comes with a hard sponge, 1 bottle of cleaning solution and 1 bottle of proofing solution.
Give the whole roof a good going over with the sponge and cleaning solution, be careful on seams and obvious places. Once you've got a good lather and foam up over the whole roof, rinse off and repeat if necessary.
Let dry for a few mins - good time for a brew.
Now it's time to go over the roof with the proofing solution. Again, repeat if necessary leaving a few mins between coats.
Time for another brew - stand back and admire your clean roof.
Edit: Great news on your choice and enjoy your new car :drive:

Mer polish (it's in a squareish blue bottle) works really well on the rear screen too - not cheap though, so make the most of the 3 for 2 offer
Happy cleaning!

Batteries changed in the remote fobs as well. They have been in there for 12 years so I reckoned they were on their way out. Great news - I have some Mer polish in the garage...back to cleaning...
