Brand new roof fitted inside and out? what does this mean.....no Expence spared (oh dear). MOT and Tax very soon - maybe wants to get rid before a huge bill?

I guess I'm just pessimistic. Plus not sure why you'd put one on sale now when it's wet and cold - why not wait until summer Having said that though I had my roof off a lot at the weekend and already a few times this week.

Also when I do an eBay listing I take loads of photos and try and get them really high quality so people can really get what they're seeing....maybe that's just me.

To be truthful it's difficult to say without seeing it in the flesh and driving it. It's probably in a better state than when I got mine! Having said that I did drive a few terrible ones before I chose mine, one was very knackered - had it been £500 less I'd of got it and put it right but it'd of needed a new headgasket (mayo) amongst other things - they engine bay was covered in coolant and it was dripping on the floor *walks away*. Maybe I tarnish all with that same brush.

Have been very tempted - especially as I'm now rather intimate with the interior workings of the MG having taken most of it out. Very good post - I've also probably got some computer grille/mesh bits I could use already.

Doesn't bother me too much really - good pair of gloves and my skiing jacket - heating on full aimed at the feet and we're all sorted
