On the other side there is dent running from the wing and half way a long the door.
Non standard wheels often have a negative effect on values, and I've never been a fan of "sports" stickers
Not a pretty example.

Good call Argen69, pleased it wasn't just me :-)

I don't think it really is a 160bhp VVC....look at below, this is the same as my 1.8 135, maybe 160 VVC owners will know but I'd of of though co2 emissions and tax may of been different?

This is a tax enquiry from a random one on ebay that's a 51' plate and looks more legit 160bhp VVC. Oooh this is fun :-)

I can confirm this. It was one of the selling points to "domestic authorities". The 160 was a win win situation, more performance and less tax!
Had a look at the pics on my PC (Was using ipad yesterday) and there is only a tf badge (no 160 badge net to it).
The fact that it's advertised as a VVTi also suggests the owner doesn't know the difference.
I'm beginning g to think my estimate was optimistic!

I had two replies
Yes mate
and
Actually there 157 bhp but classed as 160 by mg - his words

Looking at the Ultimate MG site, it says that the MGTF 160 had a tax band of E with emissions of 166 to 185, with the 135 in the higher tax bracket. This supports Richard's suggestion that this is probably not a 160.

Why am I making a meal of this? To my mind a 160 would command a higher price than a 135 and I would pitch my bid accordingly. That and the fact that I'm a pedantic git and don't like being conned! That said, it's probably not going to get the price it deserves.

If any body is interested in going to look at this with a view to buying it, you can tell from the vin whether it's a genuine 160 or not. 160's have a letter P at the 8th position whereas 135's have a K. VVCs have a T, apparently.
