Yeah we jumped in to quick before we knew the situation I don't think it will reach 4 figures now so I won't be the new owner of any screw drivers :spank:

Hi all,

I put in the reg no. into a vehicle check site - and it came up with TF 135! Now they could have put a 160 engine in - but I think not

Personally, I wouldn't touch with a bargepole - but someone may get conned :-?

I'm going for £899

John

Nice one John Kent and it's all part of the game JP. If you do lose, you get your virtual bid money back. Guaranteed.

What does help us all, on the games learning curve, is how to proactively look into an ebay car that you might be considering buying. No-one wants to end up buying a lemon.. And I'm sure by now that this one smells a lil bit citric to us all.

Ooh interesting. :pop:

So, it is a 135. The seller doesn't respond to ebay questions. But I think I'll send him the link anyhow. :yesnod:

Unfortunately, I think someone will get caught with this one but I'm still going to pitch my bid at a level that I think it's worth rather than what it will go for.

My bid £931

I really want those screwdrivers

Well, leaving until the last minute seems to have worked for you. Unless you bought it yourself?:P

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. :yesnod:

It just so happens that Bertl has approached me previously and offered up a nice prize for the next FPG. So, it is just that he got lucky this time around.

Well done Berti! I saw the ebay bid of £870.55 this morning but felt sure it would go a bit higher closer to the close. Should have waited a bit longer before posting my guess. I would probably still have gone a bit higher though.

Thanks for organising the game Leigh. This has been a good one because of the nature of the car on offer - I'll say no more than that

The parcel with the prize arrived this morning - haven't seen it so far, the best wife of all just called me ("what did you buy again??").

So again a big
to Cobber for donating the great prize and to Leigh Ping for organising the game!!
