Austec are the local TVR centre, used to be on the Gatwick Road, now behind the Vauxhall dealer.

I gather that's Evans Halshaw then in Crawley. The only TVR centre I knew was the one off the A25 London-Brighton Road at Salfords. Recovered a few TVR's to them when driving for Dorking Autos years ago.

Apparently Youtube had a meltdown and deleted the video.. but its back up now..

So, should you buy an MGF? Well, obviously!!

And that's despite all the work that actually needs doing on my car. Looks like she's going to be losing some points straight away, but then, that's what happens when you buy a car for less than £1000, right? Or have I bought the Le Mons lemon?

I've been away, so sorry if someone has already told you this, but the header tank is only supposed to be filled to the middle seam.

Yes, I know, have an airlock.. at rest it's filled to the middle seam..

So does the coolant fill the expansion tank when the engine is running? Then drop back down when it cools?:shrug:

Yes, but not always. Like I said, got my ex (the mechanic) replacing the rad and pipework next week
