update alarm has just gone off no flash off the indicators when reset I have left it turned off don't wont it going off all night in my garage will have a look In the morrow

Can any one help with the wiring colours to colours easy but got a lot of black cables some going away from boot some going into the car are they just negatives/ground wires
looks like two go the wires coming out of the bottom and two into car but as the whole lots broken I have no idea

I'm sure all the black wires are earths but you can double check if you have a multi meter.

Fantastic I cant believe the lot had come away ( seven wires) only held on by the tape :omg:
their seems to be just enough to splice a long extension to so this never happens again so as soon as the little one is having her afternoon nap out comes my soldering iron :tada:

All soldered up taped and working flashed on locking unlocking and double locks thanks for all your help!!!

defo broken wires in the boot hinge loom,done mine twice now,bloody awkward thought.happy days. :woohoo:

If you are sure the boot loom is OK then check the wiring to the lock itself. A poor connection there can cause the alarm to go off when the boot is opened.
(To confirm to all other readers- the alarm is NOT supposed to go off, if you open the boot with the key :nonod: .)
