Had my mgtf for about 3 years now...so going out and about and spotting them as become second nature......after id bought mine i spotted 3 mgs in a kidsgrove garage....2 mgtf and a mgf trophy in yellow........they looked even then 3 years ago that they had been standing around a bit.............and today i went past the garage.........the unloved and neglected mgs were still there although the 2 grand price tags had been removed..the 3 grand tag was still on the sorry looking f.
the first was a xp grey tf.....mouldy inside and out with red raw discs

The second was a dark blue tf also with algae style roof and oxide brake discs

and finally still with its hefty price tag the trophy f
i have never seen a mg sit so low to the ground.....looks like a citreon....rust appearing near the intakes as if filler was aplied........again au naturelle moss roof and rusty brakes

flora was starting to grow out of the front wheel of one of the tfs.....shame but the price tags were too high to begin with to be of any interest to anyone...

did a dvla check on the f.....tax due december 2010....mot expired 14th july 2011

Shameless!
They have been standing way too long, who would buy them now?

With a business strategy like this dealer seems to have goodness knows how he stays in business :nonod: :nonod:

I'd bet one thing he wont be showing this sign :welcome: when the next F or TF comes onto his pitch for part chop

On a serious note agree with you guys its a real shame.

Hi I live not far from this garage, seen them aswell. The f is on flea bay for just shy of 3 grand. Photos a little bit different to yours, it's parked on the road no close ups. I wonder Why?! These garages a shocking especially that one, it's not got a good reputation according to my mate.

yes glenn i should imagine the mot bill for that car would be in excess of a grand...dodgy brakes,subframes,etc....below is a pic of the mot failure.

I have a work colleague who lives in Rocester and he is possibly on the lookout for a cheap TF, although he wants a 160, he wont want to pay 160 prices, and he has just missed a couple of real bargains on auction sites....don't know how much the one on the Rocester garage forecourt is, but if its really cheap he may want to look at it since he lives 100 yards around the corner and over the road from Glenrover!
