Unloved and neglected

problem with this garage was they wouldnt tell me how much my bill was likely to be, which put me off , not even a rough estimate. They always seem to have cars parked up outside so i presume they must be fairly busy. Handy in an emergency maybe for me , but i take mine elsewhere for routine jobs. He told me the car isn't for sale anyway, but its been there that long i'm sure the owner could be tempted.

I used to stop at hopton garage before it shut......just for a look around at the different types of mg there.......they had a pink tf in there showroom.......my mrs commented how she liked the car........i shook my head..started up our car..told her it was sold and we drove away rapid.......but it did get snapped up quick and the price was high.....05 with low mileage if i remember

I know the bottom car and the owner. It isn't/ wasn't pink at all! I even recognise the photograph. It was taken as Clive did a screaming wheelie off the grass in front of her and covered her car with the mud spattering visible in the pic. Hence the unhappy face!
It was/is Sunspot Yellow not pink, and was certainly yellow in that photograph. Someone has been playing in Photoshop...

That pink TF has tons of history... saw it on Ebay Mrs Sundance loved it, but no way! Then found out a lady had bought it in a shoe shop at Cheadle, Staffs. had a chat to her in the shop and she said it had a bump and was resprayed pink when it was repaired ,before she bought it. It had only done about 25k. Then it turned up in Hoptons.
Also Daz at Bitz said he sold it prior to that and knew about it in Hoptons, however I think they were asking a bit too much for it and it did have a bit of corrosion around the arches for a recently repainted car!

i admit pink aint my colour and the only thing pink on my tf is the colour of my antifreeze..other members of this forum think differently...take alook at this girls tf

Strange coincidence here is that the 06 plate pinky shown in the photo above is parked outside a salon in Cheadle, Cheshire, whereas the lady who owned it when I spoke to her lived in Cheadle , Staffordshire.....cue twilight zone music......
