Profile photo

Are we getting the profile pictures and other photos back.or have they gone for good?

I think you need to re-upload your avatars.

My signature works as it is a link to a photo on my website.

It's a shame. Avatars are easily replaced but all of my mailbox has gone, which is a minor inconvenience. There seem to be lots of inline photos lost too. I know that much of this was due to the Photobucket shenanigans but it seems that some more recent piccies are lost too.

I'm not criticising the boffins here, who manage a fantastic resource for F/TF owners. Just expressing disappointment at the misfortune...

Yes I'm dissapointed the pics have gone...it's one thing that makes this forum number 1

I have reloaded some of the pics on my later posts with the same images transferred to my Imgur account. I have left some of the older posts as there is too much to update.
Agree its a shame a lot of the archive got spoilt when Photobollox decided to snub the free image handling, but I can imagine they have lost a lot of users and it must have had a knock-on effect with their advertising sponsors.
Its another example where saving pennies can cost you pounds!
I actually find Imgur better, faster and easier to use anyway!
Mr Bluestreak will have his work cut out if he wants to update all his out and about pictures!
Talking of which...where are we all planning to go this year chaps?

duplicated a few don't know why tho,

I put all my pictures on a memory stick...and memory cars from my phone...still have to take some more this summer hey.....looking for a place in the peaks I ain't been to to take some pictures....searching the net for places of interest......Did think of visiting over exposed....but heard stories of sinking in peat bogs....so that put me off a bit.

I fancy a run up to the Carding shed at Holmfirth, straight through the best of the peak district and just out into west Yorkshire.
Check out the place on google, Bluestreak, they have a Café and a classic car restoration and display area, and a few other interesting things to check out.
Be good if we could get a few peeps on here who want to go and organise a T-bar run out....
