Like a seagull on a chip!I knew full well when I wrote it that our dear & I’m glad to see, recovering, antipodean colleague, would find my grammatical plant & jump on it with unalloyed glee.

An imprecise seagull wouldn’t get the chip! If it were so imprecise as to be grabable & it came after my chips, it might not see the day out.
I have little enthusiasm for seagulls

That would depend on what the seagulls are precise at, it probably has nothing to do with pouncing on chips..........Most likely it applies to their alibility accurately to shit on things, I swear they must be equipped with Norden bomb sights! An imprecise seagull wouldn’t get the chip! The Norden sight wasn’t as accurate as claimed & a seagull so equipped wouldn’t have any better accuracy than any free flying aerial shit filled adversary.
The real success with the Norden sight was within the Norden companies PR department.
