You mean you don't fancy the child+gaffer tape look....sounds a lot easier than all that wire!! ;)

Are you running a Hard Top or Hood with a heated rear screen ? I ask because many years ago you could get a conversion kit that would allow the heating element to run as an arial as well as a heater. I had one and it worked very well.
As for fitting something under the front screen cover, well good luck as its very tight under there.

Just had a quick look on e-bay and found this,

cant remember if you've got one or if you're just hoping to pinch clives when he fits the roll hoops, but would it be possible to attach one ( like the heating element type) to a windstop?

thats a good point i was planning on a windstop like clives once i've paid for my new engine... but it has no heating element so would it be possible?

Cheapo mini aerials for £1 work ok in strong reception areas like cities.

not a bad idea but i live in teesside... the radio waves have allot of smog to get through!
