Totally nuts idea and I'm a server techie not a mechanic but could you move the radiator to the boot? It would need some pretty radical surgery to the bootlid and probably the back of the car too but doing that would free a lot of space both under the bonnet and under the car
Server's is what i do as well. I specialise in recovering dead ones and MS exchange.
with some sort of forced air system you could probably do something with the side vents to route air to the rad, allthough with the engine being being as sensitive to tempature changes as it is, it would need to be perfect. Increaseing the amount of methanol in the water system would aid coolant

Yerr. That is how I am looking at it. It is my MG TF120 4x4
I really like the model description MG TF120 4x4 sounds good, I, for one dont have a problem with posting anything about your "freelander" whoops!! after all Ford developed the multi-shim gasket and strengthened bottom rail for this vehicle and is now saving many MGFs and TFs from a fate worse than HGF ~ i like it, post away :woohoo:

What's behind the door cjj? Lambo, Morgan Aero, piles of boxes of junk that haven't been opened since the last house move?

A few of them have quotes in their sig of other people saying how wonderful they are, while one has a poem of how great he is. I find that sort of stuff a bit arrogant and nauseating, even if it is in jest, which I don't think it is.
I will probably be posting on the .org LR bit, just to keep the posts in the right place, but I don't think it is very active compared to what we are used to.
Glad its not just me that thinks that
I am a member on there, more from my Discovery days but totally different from here!

It drives pretty much like a big car. It won't break any land speed records, but it goes better than I thought it would. It does wallow a bit around corners, but it grips quite well. Obviously it is brilliant at what we bought it for, which is driving on ice and snow.
