imobilizer problem

Hi

I have placed a new battery in the fob,checked all the conections with a magnifying glass and are ok. what are the nent steps.
I am afraid bto lock the car again with the key.By the way both my key fobs work ok.

You say both fobs work. So does the car lock/unlock with the fob now?

I just need to know where we are at the minute. To know the next move.
You say that the fobs are working, yes?
How are they working? Do they lock/unlock the doors? Do they allow you to start the car? Do they set the alarm?

My electrician has a fob dignostic and we checked them with that.The dignostic light goes on when we press the fobs.My worry is that what steps to follow now that the car is starting again.

If the fob is working, try locking the car with the key, then put the fob close to the door window and press unlock button repeatedly until the door unlocks.
Try this then come back to us.

Hi

all is well now.I have locked the car with the key pressed the fob and presto the car unlocked,got in and it started ok.Thank you very much for all the help.It seems that if the battery is not delivering more than 12 volts it blocks the imobolizer.
