Cam has just been boxed up to go to its new home :( ...lol

Might start on another after I've finished welding the metro, so far today I made a new full rear sill section and a complete half of the rear wheel arch

looks a right mess at the mo but only has to last another year

soooo another rear wheel arch to make tomorrow and two under floor sections

handbrake cables to adjust and get the headlight adjuster working

I feel for you. I'm a bit crook at the moment too. Strained some muscles under my ribs when the locking key broke. Struggling to do anything without pain, tbh.

I totted it all up the other day I'm using bits from 8 different engines and gearboxs

And YUPPP today it fired up second flick of the key :) I know it all needs re-fuel mapping etc but it was ticking over at 4-500rpm...lol

Ok so here are the bad points, its smoking like a tank, although because I used so many different engine bits I oiled everything as I put it together, for one to ease everything on the first fire and two create a bit of coke to seal any dodgey bits

Anyway its running, and the smoke seems to be getting less all the time, it was running for about 30 mins stood still then a 4 mile blast, so not long really and to be honest I think the exhaust was still full of water from when it blew

I mean as it was on the recovery truck water was pouring out of the exhaust joint on the 4-2-1 so its possible its just clearing crap out, the AFR is ok when warm but that doesn't really mean to much as if it was burning oil the ECU would adjust fuel to make it right
