My brother in law has Ozzie Osborne on his. That gets you prompts like, "You've gone the wrong fu**ing way!"
That catches your attention!.
BTW: no matter what make you have be sure to update it regularly. Found that out the hard way!

Frankly the voices on the tomtom are a bit of a gimmick. I've got them all and after a while of playing with different ones I always ended up back using a normal women's voice.
Mainly because the jokey voices get unfunny pretty quickly, and end up just being irritating!

I've got a Tomtom and have a Brodit bracket which mounts on the centre air vent and the Tomtom permanent mount. I'll take a picture later and upload it.

I've also got Sir Brian of Blessed as my Tomtom voice, yes he's a nutter but actually his diction makes it a really easy to hear. The electronic lady still kicks in for the Live traffic updates.

Back with front wheel drive and 181HP at the wheels :)

Are they available for RHD cars ??
I've got one for my LHD MGF a couple of years ago and recently found that one is cambered and looking to the left.

Seen from below. No option to alter the angle. (SatNav is a Navigon with specific mount, different to TomTom)

 didnt do that. To be honest, I didnt like the idea of having it as a permanent fixture on the dash anyway. I think a removable device might be the way to go.

I quite liked the bracket that fits in the cd slot of your stereo that Leigh Ping posted a video of.

I tried to buy the satnav holder above but paypal advised against it? So... I may as well show you my lil homemade satnav mod. I don't trust the window sucker to hold and it gets in my view of the road. This little mod is made from an old copper tv aerial and it's solid after 4 days trialling. :broon: . The velcro stops it bouncing and scratching and it sits nicely over the clock. There's a clock on the satnav, so there's no loss. It removes as easily as it goes up.

It works but not too elegant! :P
Here is a pic of the IPOD mount I had in my TR7. I used wire ties to attach it to the vents
and it worked really well. Cost was about 10 bucks.
I'm sure there is a similar rig sized for satnavs.
BTW: My satnav (Magellan) died the last time we had it out so now I don't have to worry about
where to mount it!
