I am looking at a BAS top to replace mine, and even toying with the idea of one of their "Speedster" tops to do away with the zipper altogether. They are not cheap but I do have 3 or 4 months before autumn strikes to talk myself into it! (They make them in Maroon as well-even better!)

We all know Peter of MGF Mania, it is very easy to do it yourself and save £60 :woohoo:

I'd pay £60 for a good job, on top of the money for the item. Rather than pay for the item and trust my left handedness. :)

Q. Why do cats lick their bits and pieces?

A. Because they can!

I don't have the luxury of having someone experienced with MGF hoods as none of the upholsterers here has ever seen an F.
Waaaay back in the day I installed quite a few MGB hoods as well as a few on As, and T-Series so I don't mind having a go at it myself. I'm also in the position where shipping will cost a ton so I may as well get exactly what I want rather than trying to save a few bucks. Of course all this requires drumming up the funds in the first place!
